Updated and checked for Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.4 on August 12, 2026. Himeko • Nova is a 5-star Fire Erudition main DPS built around Starblazer, Assist Skills, two Companion Protocol states, and a 150-Energy Ultimate. This guide uses the released 4.4 kit and focuses on practical relic quality, team compatibility, rotation consistency, and account value rather than beta-only values or theoretical maximum-damage setups.
Accuracy note
The core build below is based on released Version 4.4 mechanics and post-release references, not beta-only values. Banner availability and future reruns can still change, so confirm the live Warp timer and official HoYoverse notices before spending Stellar Jade.

⚡ Quick Answer: What Is the Best Himeko Nova Build?
The best Himeko Nova build in HSR 4.4 is 4-piece As Navigator Isee Sees It + 2-piece Fallen Star Anchorage with A Star That Lights the Night S1. Use a CRIT Rate Body, ATK% Boots, ATK% or Fire DMG Sphere, and ATK% Rope. Prioritize CRIT Rate = CRIT DMG > ATK% > SPD. Practical endgame targets are roughly 3,500–4,000+ ATK, close to 100% CRIT Rate in combat, 100%+ CRIT DMG before major combat buffs, and base Speed unless you are deliberately tuning a 134+ SPD rotation.
Team rule: bring at least one compatible Trailblaze Companion so Himeko • Nova can enter Verdict or Decimation. Verdict is the safer general choice for bosses and lower-target fights; Decimation gains value when the team produces frequent multi-target hits. Base Speed with ATK% Boots is the default unless your support setup specifically benefits from a tuned Speed breakpoint.

How this build was evaluated
The recommendations prioritize released 4.4 mechanics, repeatable rotations, multi-mode usefulness, realistic E0 account building, and strong substat efficiency. Exact damage changes with Eidolons, enemy count, stage buffs, and support investment, so this guide favors setups that stay reliable across multiple encounters instead of ranking every option by one idealized damage test.
Best use case
Himeko • Nova is at her best when you want one Erudition carry that can contribute in Pure Fiction without becoming a liability in lower-target Memory of Chaos or Apocalyptic Shadow encounters. HSRZone’s current Version 4.4 Erudition ranking explains why that cross-mode flexibility matters more than pure five-target damage alone.
🔥 How Himeko Nova Works
Himeko • Nova is not “standard Himeko with bigger multipliers.” Her combat loop is built around a Territory called Starblazer Visioscape. While she is on the field, allies gain access to an Assist Skill that commands Starblazer to attack. Those Assist Skill attacks count as Himeko • Nova using her Skill, which is why effects that interact with Skill usage can matter far more than they would on a normal Erudition carry.
Her regular Skill restores Assist Skill uses and applies Navigator’s Semaphore, a multi-turn state that increases allied damage and restores an Assist Skill use at the start of Himeko • Nova’s turns. Her Ultimate then shifts control to Starblazer for a large multi-hit sequence. The practical result is a character whose damage comes from several sources: her own turns, allies spending Assist Skills, free protocol-triggered Assist Skills, and the Ultimate burst.
🤝 Assist Skills and Trailblaze Companions
Every ally can press the Assist Skill command, but Trailblaze Companions are the pieces that unlock Himeko • Nova’s protocol states. This is the most important team-building rule in her kit. You do not need four Astral Express members, but you should normally bring at least one compatible Companion so the team is not leaving a major mechanic inactive.
⚖️ Verdict vs Decimation
| Protocol | Typical Enablers | What It Rewards | Best Environment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Verdict | Trailblazer, Sunday, Dan Heng variants | Allied Ultimates, Himeko • Nova burst, fewer-target focus | Bosses, elites, MoC, AS |
| Decimation | Welt, Himeko, March 7th variants | Frequent enemy hits, multi-target actions, teamwide CRIT pressure | Pure Fiction, multi-target waves, high attack-count teams |
Verdict is the safer default when Himeko • Nova is your main hypercarry because it rewards allied Ultimates and translates cleanly into boss and elite damage. Decimation becomes more attractive when the team can hit several enemies frequently and convert that attack count into additional Assist Skill triggers. Dual-protocol teams are possible, but unless you are deliberately timing a form switch, building around one protocol gives a cleaner rotation and fewer wasted Assist uses.
Practical rule
Do not choose a team only because every character is technically compatible. Choose the protocol first, then build the other three slots around what charges that protocol reliably. A stable Verdict rotation is better than a “clever” mixed team that wastes Assist Skill uses or keeps switching states at the wrong time.

🧩 Best Relics for Himeko Nova
For the released 4.4 build, As Navigator Isee Sees It is the clear default because Himeko • Nova repeatedly uses Assist Skills and gains value from a set that directly amplifies the parts of her kit doing the most work. If you are comparing pieces, remember that the set bonus does not rescue four relics with poor CRIT and ATK rolls. The broader HSR relic guide is useful when deciding whether a mixed temporary set is stronger than a low-quality four-piece.
🥇 Best Cavern Relic Sets
| Rank | Relic Set | Why It Works | When to Use |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | As Navigator Isee Sees It — 4 pc | Best synergy with repeated Assist Skill and Ultimate damage | Default endgame target |
| 2 | Scholar Lost in Erudition — 4 pc | Useful CRIT/Skill-oriented fallback, but does not fully match her repeated Assist pattern | Use strong existing pieces while farming |
| 3 | Wavestrider Captain — 4 pc | Strong when teammates frequently target Himeko • Nova | Use with Sunday, Sparkle, Cerydra-style targeting and careful Ultimate timing |
| 4 | 2 pc offensive + 2 pc offensive | Pure substat bridge | Use only as a transition when piece quality is much higher |
🌌 Best Planar Ornaments
| Rank | Planar Set | Best For | Key Condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Fallen Star Anchorage | General build | Easy to activate when using another Trailblaze Companion |
| 2 | The Wondrous BananAmusement Park | DHPT teams | Excellent CRIT value when its team condition is active |
| 3 | Rutilant Arena | Generic fallback | Usable, but does not boost the Ultimate portion as cleanly |
Relic replacement rule
A strong ATK/CRIT piece on a temporary set can beat a weak best-in-slot piece. Upgrade toward the final four-piece gradually instead of sacrificing 20–30 useful substat rolls just to activate the correct set name.

💡 Best Light Cones for Himeko Nova
Himeko • Nova benefits unusually strongly from a Light Cone that improves both damage and rotation quality. That is why her signature is more than a simple stat stick. If you are deciding whether an Erudition Cone can be shared, first check whether its effect actually applies to Skill/Assist Skill and Ultimate damage rather than only follow-up attacks or one narrow damage type. The complete HSR Light Cone guide covers Path restrictions and general acquisition rules.
| Rank | Light Cone | Recommended Superimposition | Why It Is Good | Main Limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | A Star That Lights the Night | S1 | Signature; DEF Ignore, major Assist Skill/Ultimate DMG bonus, extra Energy from Assist Skills | Limited 5-star investment |
| 2 | Into the Unreachable Veil | S1 | Strong CRIT, Skill/Ultimate damage and useful SP utility | Premium 5-star; weaker rotation help than signature |
| 3 | Night on the Milky Way | S1 | Strong in multi-enemy and Break-friendly stages | Performance drops with fewer enemies |
| 4 | Today Is Another Peaceful Day | S5 | Reliable broad DMG bonus that fits her high Energy cost | Requires Nameless Honor investment |
| 5 | The Day The Cosmos Fell | S5 | Accessible F2P option with useful CRIT DMG | Needs the enemy lineup to satisfy its Fire-weak condition |
| 6 | The Seriousness of Breakfast | S5 | Easy fallback and fully F2P-accessible | Needs kills to ramp and has a lower ceiling |
🌟 Why A Star That Lights the Night Is So Strong
At S1, A Star That Lights the Night combines high base ATK with 32% DEF Ignore, a 60% DMG Bonus to Assist Skills and Ultimates, and 6 extra Energy whenever an Assist Skill is used. That last effect matters because Himeko • Nova’s Ultimate costs 150 Energy: repeated Assist Skills improve both her damage ceiling and how smoothly she returns to the next Ultimate.
That makes the signature both a damage upgrade and a rotation upgrade. It also becomes more valuable in teams that already apply DEF reduction, but it is still an upgrade rather than a requirement for the character to function.
F2P recommendation
Get Himeko • Nova herself before considering the signature. For F2P and low-spender accounts, an existing Night on the Milky Way, S5 The Day The Cosmos Fell in the right matchup, or S5 The Seriousness of Breakfast can keep E0 fully usable while Stellar Jade goes toward missing supports, sustain, or a second team.

📊 Best Stats and Main Stats
Himeko • Nova still wants a conventional CRIT DPS core, but judge the finished build in combat, not only from the character screen. Her Territory supplies a large CRIT DMG boost, while her minor Traces also contribute CRIT Rate, so an outside-combat ratio can look less impressive than the real battle ratio. When comparing pieces, use the relic stat optimization guide instead of chasing one relic-score number.
📌 Recommended Main Stats
| Relic Slot | Default | Alternative | Decision Rule |
|---|---|---|---|
| Body | CRIT Rate | CRIT DMG | Use CRIT DMG only when in-combat CRIT Rate is already close to 100% |
| Boots | ATK% | SPD | ATK is the default; use SPD only for intentional tuning |
| Planar Sphere | ATK% | Fire DMG | Choose by substats and external buffs; ATK is often slightly easier to optimize |
| Link Rope | ATK% | — | Her build normally prefers direct ATK rather than ERR Rope |
🎯 Substat Priority and Endgame Targets
- CRIT Rate = CRIT DMG — balance around the in-combat ratio, not only the menu screen.
- ATK% — excellent after CRIT is stable because most of her damage scales from ATK.
- SPD — useful only until the chosen rotation is solved; do not force it blindly.
| Stat | Practical Endgame Goal | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ATK | 3,500–4,000+ | Higher is realistic with ATK Boots, Sphere, Rope and buffs |
| CRIT Rate | About 100% in combat | Avoid overcapping after Traces, Light Cone, Planar and support buffs |
| CRIT DMG | 100%+ before large in-combat buffs | Her kit supplies substantial additional CRIT DMG in combat |
| SPD | Base by default; 134+ if specifically tuned | Base Speed is commonly preferred with ATK Boots |
⏱ Does Himeko Nova Need 134 SPD?
No. 134 SPD is an option, not a universal minimum. Himeko • Nova has 98 base SPD, so forcing a breakpoint can consume a meaningful number of substat rolls. With Sunday, you can use a traditional -1 Speed pairing when your rotation is built around Himeko taking natural turns, or run a much faster support while Himeko stays near base Speed with ATK% Boots. The better setup is the one that creates useful actions without overcapping Assist Skill uses or sacrificing too much ATK and CRIT.
If you want to tune exact Action Value thresholds, use the HSR Speed breakpoints guide instead of copying 134 SPD from another character build.
Practical rule
Solve the rotation first. If base-Speed Himeko • Nova already receives enough actions through Sunday, Cerydra, extra turns, and Assist Skill triggers, converting ATK and CRIT rolls into Speed can lower total damage rather than improve it.

Image: Honkai: Star Rail © HoYoverse
🌟 Trace and Eidolon Priority
🧬 Trace Priority
| Priority | Trace | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Talent | Controls Starblazer/Assist Skill mechanics and core scaling |
| 2 | Ultimate | Large share of burst damage and rotation payoff |
| 3 | Skill | Maintains Navigator’s Semaphore and Assist Skill recovery |
| 4 | Basic ATK | Low priority because it is not the core damage loop |
Unlock the three major Bonus Abilities as soon as practical. Her A2 supports Assist Skill consistency and Energy, A4 creates the unusual extra-turn interaction for Trailblaze Companions, and A6 improves the Ultimate resource sequence. If you are planning materials, the site’s Ascension and Traces guide gives the general order for guaranteed upgrades before relic min-maxing.
✨ Eidolon Value
| Eidolon | Value | What Changes |
|---|---|---|
| E0 | Complete core kit | All main Territory, Assist Skill, protocol and Ultimate mechanics are functional |
| E1 | Very strong | Makes protocol-triggered Assist Skills easier and more frequent |
| E2 | Transformative vertical upgrade | Adds another Assist Skill use per turn and greatly improves Assist Skill/Ultimate output |
| E4 | Team utility / damage | Extends RES PEN value to allies and adds more personal RES PEN |
| E6 | Luxury capstone | Large RES PEN, more Source Energy and much stronger Assist/Ultimate sequence |
Low-spender stop point
E0 is enough to play the full kit. E1 and E2 are strong vertical upgrades, but they should come after you have a functional second team, adequate sustain, and the supports your account actually needs.
👥 Best Himeko Nova Teams
The best Himeko • Nova team is not simply the four strongest characters on your roster. Start with the protocol you want to trigger, then add amplification and sustain around that state. A paper-strong lineup can still underperform if it activates the wrong protocol, caps Assist Skill uses, or breaks the intended action order. For broader hypercarry, dual-DPS, and action-economy structures, see the HSR team composition guide.
⚖️ Premium Verdict Team — Best General Hypercarry Setup
| Role | Character | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Main DPS | Himeko • Nova | Primary damage, Assist Skill engine and Ultimate burst |
| Verdict Enabler / Advance | Sunday | Activates Verdict, advances Himeko, restores Energy and improves CRIT consistency |
| Amplifier | Sparkle / Cerydra / Mortenax Blade | More actions, Skill duplication, damage amplification or DEF reduction |
| Sustain | Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae / Huohuo | DHPT adds a second Trailblaze Companion and ATK support; Huohuo adds team Energy |
Sunday is especially comfortable because his Action Advance helps Himeko • Nova refresh Assist Skill usage more often while his Ultimate supports her 150-Energy Ultimate cycle. If you are building that core, the Sunday team guide is useful for comparing 135/134 and fast-support variants.
💥 Premium Decimation Team — High Attack Count
| Role | Character | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Main DPS | Himeko • Nova | Converts repeated hits into free protocol Assist Skills |
| Decimation Enabler | Welt | Activates Decimation and adds strong debuff/delay value |
| Amplifier / Sub-DPS | Mortenax Blade | DEF reduction, damage taken amplification and frequent AoE attacks |
| Sustain | Huohuo / flexible sustain | Huohuo improves Energy; other sustains work when survivability or SP is more important |
Welt is the cleanest dedicated Decimation enabler in many accounts, while Mortenax Blade complements that shell with DEF reduction, damage amplification, and frequent AoE pressure. Together they give Himeko • Nova both the attack count Decimation wants and meaningful debuffs for the resulting Assist Skill and Ultimate damage. Mortenax Blade’s setup is covered in the Mortenax Blade build guide.
🆓 F2P / Low-Cost Verdict Team
| Role | Character | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Main DPS | Himeko • Nova | E0 works |
| Verdict Enabler | Trailblazer • Remembrance | Free Trailblaze Companion with strong True DMG support |
| Support | Tingyun / Asta | Energy + ATK or Speed + ATK depending on account |
| Sustain | Gallagher / Lynx / Natasha | Use the best built option you already own |
For F2P players, the key is not recreating the premium team at half strength. It is keeping the protocol active, preserving Skill Point economy, and using already-built supports. More low-investment team structures are collected in the best F2P teams guide.
🌀 Other Strong Teammates
| Character | Best Use | Important Note |
|---|---|---|
| Cerydra | Verdict / Skill duplication | Assist Skill counts as a real Skill, creating strong synergy |
| Sparkle | Verdict / Action Advance | Excellent general amplification; coordinate with other advancers |
| Trailblazer • Remembrance | Verdict / True DMG support | Free and strong, but Action Advance timing can desync |
| Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae | Verdict / sustain | ATK support, shielding and Trailblaze Companion synergy |
| March 7th • The Hunt | Decimation access | More niche at E0 Himeko • Nova, but useful as a low-cost enabler |
| Himeko | Decimation / Pure Fiction | Fun and functional multi-target option, but less universal than Welt |
Team-building checklist
Before locking a lineup, confirm: (1) one Trailblaze Companion activates the intended protocol, (2) your support buffs the damage that actually matters, (3) Assist Skill uses are not sitting capped, (4) the sustain does not break SP or action order, and (5) the team still works against the target count of the stage.

🎮 Rotation and Gameplay Guide
Himeko • Nova becomes much easier once you stop thinking of the Assist Skill as a bonus button and start treating it as the center of the rotation. The basic sequence is consistent even when the exact teammate order changes.
- 1. Enter combat with her Technique when appropriate. It improves exploration utility and can set up her Skill at the beginning of waves.
- 2. Establish Navigator’s Semaphore. Her Skill restores Assist Skill uses and starts the multi-turn buff/recovery window.
- 3. Activate the intended protocol. Let the correct Trailblaze Companion use Assist Skill early enough to enter Verdict or Decimation.
- 4. Avoid Assist Skill overcap. Spend uses before Himeko • Nova’s turn restores another one.
- 5. Build toward the protocol trigger. Verdict wants allied Ultimates; Decimation wants frequent enemy hits.
- 6. Use Himeko • Nova’s Ultimate when the rotation is ready. Do not hold it so long that you waste Energy or protocol-reset value.
- 7. Re-establish the state after the burst. Refresh Semaphore and repeat instead of drifting into Basic ATKs without a plan.
⚖️ Verdict Rotation Tips
In Verdict, sequence allied Ultimates so they contribute to the protocol counter instead of firing them randomly before the state is active. Sunday is excellent here because he can advance Himeko • Nova, refill part of her Energy, and help align the next Assist Skill cycle. Consistency is the priority: a repeatable free Assist Skill every rotation is more useful than a theoretical burst sequence that only works when every Ultimate starts full.
💥 Decimation Rotation Tips
In Decimation, think in enemy hits per action. AoE and multi-hit attacks become valuable because they charge the state faster. This is why Welt and Mortenax Blade feel so natural: the team is already doing the kinds of actions Decimation wants. In Pure Fiction, let wave transitions work for you; do not spend a large Ultimate into one nearly-dead enemy if the next wave will provide more targets and more protocol charge.
Common rotation error
Using Assist Skill on the wrong Trailblaze Companion can switch the active protocol and change what the team is trying to charge. If you are not intentionally form-switching, keep the “wrong” Companion on normal actions until the current burst window is finished.

🏆 Best Himeko Nova Build by Game Mode
| Game Mode | Recommended Protocol | Best Build Emphasis | Team Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Memory of Chaos | Verdict | ATK Boots, high CRIT, Ultimate frequency | Sunday / DHPT / strong amplifier |
| Pure Fiction | Decimation or flexible | AoE Assist frequency and wave control | Welt, Himeko or March 7th enabler; teamwide buffs |
| Apocalyptic Shadow | Verdict | Boss damage, Toughness pressure, Energy | Strong sustain plus Ultimate-focused support |
| Anomaly Arbitration / high-pressure content | Fight-dependent | Consistency before greed | Prioritize survival and stable rotation over theoretical maximum |
The reason Himeko • Nova is valuable is not that one setup is perfect everywhere. It is that the same core build can be redirected toward different target counts through protocol choice and teammates. That gives her more account flexibility than an Erudition carry whose ceiling depends entirely on five enemies being present.
⚙️ Farming and Investment Order
Do not start with perfect relics. Guaranteed upgrades have a much better return per Trailblaze Power. For a new Himeko • Nova, use the following investment order:
- Character level and final Ascension — unlock base stats and final Trace access.
- Light Cone level — guaranteed ATK and passive scaling.
- Major Traces and Talent/Ultimate levels — directly improve the mechanics you use every rotation.
- Correct main stats — CRIT Body, ATK Boots, appropriate Sphere, ATK Rope.
- 4-pc As Navigator Isee Sees It — farm the final set once the character is already functional.
- Fallen Star Anchorage — optimize Planar pieces after the basic Cavern set is stable.
- Substat min-maxing — chase 100% in-combat CRIT Rate and higher ATK only after the guaranteed upgrades are finished.
Trailblaze Power rule
If a relic upgrade would replace a piece that already has correct main stats and several useful rolls, the expected gain can be tiny. Stop farming when Himeko • Nova clears the content you built her for, then move Trailblaze Power to a weaker team slot.
📅 Himeko Nova Character Banner History
Himeko • Nova debuted in Version 4.4. HSRZone also maintains a broader HSR character and Light Cone banner history for comparing previous runs across the roster.
| Version | Warp | Start | Status | Run Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4.4 | Ad Astra Nova | July 15, 2026 | Debut banner in Version 4.4. Version 4.4 runs through August 26, 2026 at 06:00 (UTC+8); confirm the live Warp timer for the exact banner countdown. | Debut |
Banner update note
As of August 12, 2026, Version 4.4 is active. No future Himeko • Nova rerun should be treated as confirmed until HoYoverse publishes a new official Event Warp notice.
🌠 A Star That Lights the Night Banner History
| Version | Warp | Start | Status | Run Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4.4 | Brilliant Fixation — A Star That Lights the Night | July 15, 2026 | Signature Light Cone debut in Version 4.4; confirm the live Brilliant Fixation timer in game. | Debut |
Because the signature is a large upgrade, it is tempting to treat it as mandatory. It is not. A character copy opens a new team; a Light Cone only improves a character you already own. That distinction matters most for F2P and low-spender accounts.
🎟️ Pull or Save? Himeko Nova in HSR 4.4
Himeko • Nova is a strong pull when she solves a real account need: you want a premium Erudition carry with value beyond Pure Fiction, your boss-mode teams also need help, or you already own supports that fit Verdict or Decimation. She is less urgent when you already claim full endgame rewards and your roster is still missing a high-impact sustain or broadly useful support.
| Your Account Situation | Decision | Priority | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| You lack a modern cross-mode Erudition carry | Pull | E0 Himeko • Nova | One character can improve PF, MoC and AS instead of solving only one mode |
| You already own E0 and have no good Erudition Cone | Consider | S1 signature | Large damage gain plus smoother Energy / Ultimate cycle |
| You own E0 with a strong 5-star alternative | Usually save | Keep current Cone | The incremental gain may be smaller than a new team role |
| You want more vertical power and love the character | Consider | E1 after E0 | Protocol triggers become easier and more frequent |
| Your sustain/support roster is weak | Save first | Account infrastructure | A complete team usually beats one overinvested DPS |
| Pure Fiction is already solved by The Herta / Herta / Himeko | Preference | Only pull for cross-mode value or character preference | Do not pay limited currency to solve a problem you no longer have |
| You already clear all full-reward thresholds | Save or preference pull | Favorite character / future goal | Progression no longer requires this banner |
Before spending, check your pity, guarantee, and remaining Stellar Jade against the HSR pull tracker and pity planning guide.
For F2P players
The safest order is E0 character → build the team → test endgame → only then consider S1 or Eidolons. If E0 already clears the content you needed, saving is a valid optimization decision, not a failure to “finish” the build.

❌ Common Himeko Nova Build Mistakes
1. Building Her Like Standard Himeko
Standard Himeko cares heavily about Break-triggered follow-up cadence. Himeko • Nova is built around Assist Skills, protocols and an Ultimate-driven Starblazer sequence. Reusing the old relic set or team template simply because both characters are Fire Erudition wastes the new kit.
2. Forcing 134 SPD on Every Build
134 SPD is not mandatory. Base-Speed ATK Boots are often stronger when Sunday or another action-advance support already creates enough turns. Speed is useful only when it changes the real rotation.
3. Ignoring In-Combat CRIT Buffs
Her Territory adds a large CRIT DMG increase, and her minor Traces also contribute CRIT Rate. Judge the final in-combat ratio before replacing good ATK or CRIT rolls just to make the character sheet look prettier.
4. Using the Wrong Trailblaze Companion Assist
The Companion who uses Assist Skill can determine whether the team enters Verdict or Decimation. A careless Assist input can switch the state and make the next several actions charge the wrong protocol.
5. Letting Assist Skill Uses Cap
Her Skill and turns restore Assist Skill usage. If you sit at the maximum, you are losing free attacks, Energy interactions and protocol progress. Spend with a plan before the next restoration point.
6. Treating the Signature as Mandatory
The signature is excellent, but E0 Himeko • Nova still works with existing 5-star Erudition Cones and accessible F2P options. For many accounts, the next new support or sustain is worth more than S1.
7. Mixing Verdict and Decimation Without a Reason
Form switching is an advanced optimization tool, not the default rotation. If switching does not improve the current enemy count or burst timing, staying in one protocol is cleaner and usually more reliable.
8. Overfarming Relics Before Finishing Traces
A perfect relic can take thousands of Trailblaze Power. Trace levels, character level and Light Cone level are guaranteed upgrades. Finish those first.
✅ Final Himeko Nova Build Summary
| Category | Recommended Setup |
|---|---|
| Cavern Relic | 4-pc As Navigator Isee Sees It |
| Planar | Fallen Star Anchorage |
| Light Cone | A Star That Lights the Night S1 |
| Best 5-star Alternative | Into the Unreachable Veil / Night on the Milky Way |
| F2P Alternatives | The Day The Cosmos Fell S5 / The Seriousness of Breakfast S5 |
| Body | CRIT Rate |
| Boots | ATK% |
| Sphere | ATK% ≈ Fire DMG; use the better piece/team fit |
| Rope | ATK% |
| Substats | CRIT Rate = CRIT DMG > ATK% > SPD |
| Endgame Targets | 3,500–4,000+ ATK, ~100% CRIT Rate in combat, 100%+ CRIT DMG, base SPD or tuned 134+ |
| Trace Priority | Talent > Ultimate > Skill > Basic |
| Best General Team Style | Verdict hypercarry |
| Best Multi-Target Team Style | Decimation high attack-count |
Final rule
Build the rotation, not just the stat sheet. Himeko • Nova becomes strong when relics, protocol choice, Assist Skill usage, Energy, and teammates all point toward the same burst cycle. Correct main stats and a clean protocol rotation matter more than forcing a perfect-looking four-piece set with weak substats.
❓ Himeko Nova Build FAQ
What is the best relic set for Himeko Nova?
The best general relic set is 4-piece As Navigator Isee Sees It. It matches her repeated Assist Skill and Ultimate damage pattern better than older Erudition sets. Scholar Lost in Erudition and Wavestrider Captain are usable alternatives when their substats or team conditions are stronger.
What is Himeko Nova’s best Planar Ornament?
Fallen Star Anchorage is the best general choice because Himeko • Nova naturally wants another Trailblaze Companion, making the set easy to activate. The Wondrous BananAmusement Park can be excellent in Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae teams, while Rutilant Arena is a functional fallback.
What is Himeko Nova’s best Light Cone?
A Star That Lights the Night is her best Light Cone at S1. It provides DEF Ignore, strong Assist Skill and Ultimate damage, and extra Energy when Assist Skills trigger, which improves both damage and Ultimate frequency.
Does Himeko Nova need 134 Speed?
No. Base Speed with ATK% Boots is commonly recommended. A 134+ SPD build is viable for a specific speed-tuned rotation, especially with Sunday, but it should not be forced when Action Advance already supplies enough turns.
Should Himeko Nova use an ATK or Fire DMG Sphere?
ATK% is the default recommendation, but Fire DMG is close enough that substats and team buffs can reverse the choice. Use the piece with the better overall CRIT/ATK rolls unless your team’s external buffs strongly favor one side.
Is Himeko Nova F2P friendly?
Yes at E0, especially because Trailblazer and March 7th variants provide low-cost protocol access. Her signature Light Cone is a large upgrade, but she can still function with Night on the Milky Way, The Day The Cosmos Fell, or The Seriousness of Breakfast depending on what your account owns.
Which is better for Himeko Nova, Verdict or Decimation?
Verdict is usually the easiest general recommendation for bosses and lower-target fights because it emphasizes Himeko • Nova’s own burst and allied Ultimates. Decimation is stronger when the team can hit many enemies frequently, which makes it especially attractive in Pure Fiction and multi-target encounters.
Is Himeko Nova better than standard Himeko?
For broad endgame coverage, Himeko • Nova is much more flexible because her damage and Toughness pressure do not depend on repeatedly breaking several enemies. Standard Himeko is still a valuable low-cost Pure Fiction character and works well with Herta in favorable stages.
Should I pull Himeko Nova’s S1 or E1 first?
For most accounts, get E0 first and test the team. S1 is attractive when you lack a strong Erudition Light Cone and want both more damage and a smoother 150-Energy Ultimate cycle. E1 is attractive when you already own a strong Cone and want more frequent protocol-triggered Assist Skills. Choose the upgrade that fixes the larger limitation on your account rather than assuming one is universally better.
When will Himeko Nova rerun?
No future rerun should be treated as confirmed until HoYoverse publishes an official Event Warp notice. Her debut is in Version 4.4, which began July 15, 2026. Check the live Warp screen and official announcements for any later rerun schedule.
