Fact-checked October 6, 2026. Build recommendations assume level 80, E0 and unlocked major Traces unless stated otherwise. Light Cone superimposition is labeled separately.
Evanescia rewards a build that keeps Energy, Certified Banger and CRIT working together. A larger ATK number alone does not tell you whether her next damage window will arrive on time. Start with the right rope and useful CRIT pieces, then tune the team around the resources she actually uses.
⚡ Quick Answer
The recommended Evanescia build in HSR uses 4-piece Ever-Glorious Magical Girl, 2-piece Punklorde Stage Zero, a CRIT DMG body and an Energy Regeneration Rate rope. Until the Flowers Bloom Again is her signature option; Mushy Shroomy’s Adventures is a practical permanent F2P alternative. Choose boots and sphere by CRIT substats, survivability and tested action timing. Her Energy storage cap is 480; one Ultimate spends 240.

🎯 1. Evanescia Build at a Glance
| Slot or priority | Recommended starting point | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Cavern Relics | 4-piece Ever-Glorious Magical Girl | Keep useful CRIT pieces while finishing the set. |
| Planar Ornaments | 2-piece Punklorde Stage Zero | Check whether the 80% Elation milestone is reached. |
| Body | CRIT DMG | Account for her built-in CRIT Rate before adding more. |
| Boots | Strong CRIT substats; SPD only with a reason | ATK%, HP% or DEF% can work; compare the actual rotation. |
| Sphere | Strong CRIT substats; survival when needed | Do not automatically prioritize Physical DMG Boost. |
| Rope | Energy Regeneration Rate | S1 does not automatically replace the need for ERR. |
| Substats | CRIT Rate until capped in combat → CRIT DMG | Avoid spending rolls on excess CRIT Rate. |
| Core teammates | Elation Trailblazer and compatible Elation support | Build a resource engine before buying luxury upgrades. |
💡 Practical rule
For F2P players, a correct main stat and a functioning team come before perfect substats. Keep a good temporary piece if replacing it would cost useful CRIT or make the team less reliable.
🦊 2. Why Energy and Certified Banger Change the Build
Evanescia is a Physical character on the playable Elation Path. Her Talent converts 20% of CRIT DMG into Elation: 220% CRIT DMG contributes 44 percentage points of Elation before other sources. That is one reason a CRIT DMG body is especially attractive.
| Mechanic | Released-kit rule | Build consequence |
|---|---|---|
| Energy storage | Up to 480; an Ultimate consumes 240 | Storage capacity and casting cost are different numbers. |
| Energy → Certified Banger | An original Energy gain also supplies matching Certified Banger | Energy support has value beyond reaching an Ultimate. |
| Certified Banger → Energy | An independent gain can supply Energy; up to 100 points enter each conversion | The cap is per conversion, not a 100-point limit on her total state. |
| Master Fox | Triggers after accumulating 240 Energy gained; its attack restores Energy | Its charge counter is separate from currently stored Energy. |
| Teammate interaction | Major Traces gain Certified Banger from qualifying allies | The team influences the build’s resource supply. |
⚠️ Two conversions do not create infinite Energy
The Energy and Certified Banger conversions do not keep triggering each other recursively. Also, a teammate’s lower Elation Skill Participant ID is not the same thing as higher SPD or an earlier party position.
For the shared system behind these interactions, the Elation mechanics guide explains Punchline and Aha Instant. Here, the focus stays on what changes Evanescia’s equipment choices.

🧩 3. Best Relics and Planar Ornaments
✨ Ever-Glorious Magical Girl
4-piece Ever-Glorious Magical Girl is the recommended Elation-focused farming target. Its two-piece gives 16% CRIT DMG. The four-piece starts with 10% Elation DEF ignore, gaining another 1% per five accumulated Punchline up to ten stacks, for 20% total at full stacks. Do not count the fully stacked value before the set has earned it. Ordinary ATK-focused sets can be temporary equipment, but do not treat their stat gain as equivalent to a dedicated Elation bonus.
🎮 Punklorde Stage Zero
Punklorde Stage Zero gives 8% Elation. Its 40% and 80% Elation milestones award 20% and 32% total CRIT DMG respectively when first reached. The upper tier is 32%, not 20% + 32%. Check whether your actual team reaches the upper milestone; a premium team’s result does not automatically apply to a different roster.
| Your current gear | Recommended next move | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Correct set, weak rope | Fix the ERR main stat first | A complete set does not compensate for a broken resource plan. |
| Mixed set, strong CRIT pieces | Use it while farming the four-piece | Replace pieces when the full resulting build improves. |
| Punklorde upper milestone is not reached | Check the team’s combat Elation | Do not include a tier your setup has not activated. |
| Good gear, repeated deaths | Try a sturdier boots or sphere piece | A lost damage window costs more than a minor stat improvement. |
If you need the broader farming and equipment basics, use the Relic farming guide before committing a large amount of Trailblaze Power.

📊 4. Main Stats, CRIT Targets and SPD
| Equipment | Default choice | When to reconsider |
|---|---|---|
| Body | CRIT DMG | Use a temporary CRIT Rate body only if your current pieces genuinely need it. |
| Boots | Useful CRIT substats on ATK%, HP% or DEF% | SPD is an option when additional actions improve the tested fight. |
| Sphere | Useful CRIT substats; HP%/DEF% if fragile | ATK% helps ordinary damage; Physical DMG does not directly boost the Elation component. |
| Rope | ERR | ATK% is a temporary or specifically tested alternative. |
🎯 Count CRIT Rate in Combat
Her A2 Trace adds 30% CRIT Rate in combat. With no other combat-only CRIT buffs, 70% on the out-of-combat character sheet reaches 100% after that Trace. If your team supplies additional reliable CRIT Rate, lower the sheet target accordingly. Include set and Light Cone bonuses once, and avoid overcapping.
After reliable CRIT Rate, prioritize CRIT DMG. There is no need to force a generic 1:2 ratio when her kit supplies substantial CRIT Rate and converts CRIT DMG into Elation.
⏱️ SPD Is a Timing Choice
Start with a low-SPD build if it already receives enough resources between her own turns. More actions can generate additional Energy and Punchline, but they also advance character-turn durations. Try SPD boots only when the extra action creates a useful window in your team; 134 SPD is not a universal Evanescia requirement.
📌 Best use case
Compare complete builds: combat CRIT, resource timing and survival. A boots or sphere main stat that looks unusual can be sensible if it preserves stronger CRIT substats and keeps Evanescia alive.
The stat optimization guide helps evaluate these tradeoffs without judging a piece by one attractive roll.

🌟 5. Best Light Cones for Evanescia
| Light Cone | Access / comparison label | Why consider it | Important limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Until the Flowers Bloom Again | Limited signature; S1 | CRIT DMG, ERR and enemy damage-taken amplification | Compare its cost with completing the team. |
| Mushy Shroomy’s Adventures | Permanent F2P shop option; compare at the S you own | Elation and applicable enemy Elation damage-taken value | S1 and S5 are different investment levels. |
| Today’s Good Luck | Paid Nameless Glory option | CRIT Rate and Elation | Check CRIT overcap; it is not a free Light Cone. |
| Tomorrow, Together | Herta’s Store from Version 4.6 | CRIT DMG and a conditional team Elation buff | Check the live shop and its Commemorative Cartridge material. |
| A Little Getaway | Owned 4-star Warp alternative; added to Stellar Warp in 4.6 | Elation and DEF ignore for its Elation Skill trigger | Gacha-dependent; use the copy you own rather than assuming S5. |
| Dazzled by a Flowery World | Owned limited alternative | Some offensive effects can work | Not every Sparxie-specific condition transfers to Evanescia. |
⚠️ Match Path and trigger conditions
An off-Path Light Cone does not activate its ability on Evanescia. A compatible Elation Cone can still contain effects she cannot fully trigger. Compare the passive wording, superimposition and actual rotation before using rarity as the deciding factor.
Version 4.6 access update: Tomorrow, Together and its Commemorative Cartridge superimposition material were added to Herta’s Store. An older guide calling it event-only no longer describes the full acquisition picture. Check the live shop rather than assuming the original event must return.
🌸 What the Signature Adds at S1
At S1, Until the Flowers Bloom Again provides 60% CRIT DMG, an ERR bonus that becomes 20.8% at her 480 Max Energy, and a 15% enemy damage-taken increase after its Elation Skill trigger. The ERR calculation uses Max Energy, so an empty current Energy bar does not reduce that bonus to 10%.
For F2P players, begin with an accessible compatible option and build the missing teammate first. The Elation Light Cone comparison covers the wider Path; this shortlist is specifically about Evanescia.

🔋 6. ERR Explained: Rope, Signature and Energy Math
🧮 Add ERR Bonuses; Do Not Multiply Them
For an Energy gain that is affected by ERR: Energy gained = base Energy × (1 + total ERR bonuses). A fully leveled 5-star ERR rope contributes approximately 19.4%. The signature’s S1 bonus is 10% + [min(480 − 120, 360) ÷ 10] × 0.3% = 20.8%.
The rope and signature bonuses add. They do not multiply as two separate final modifiers. In the following calculation, the rope uses its underlying 19.4394% value; displayed totals and results are rounded.
| Setup | Total ERR | One Skill: 30 base Energy | Assumptions |
|---|---|---|---|
| No signature, no ERR rope | 100.0% | 30.00 | A Light Cone with no ERR; no other ERR bonuses. |
| ERR rope only | 119.4% | 35.83 | Same conditions; add the rope. |
| Signature S1 only | 120.8% | 36.24 | No ERR rope or other ERR sources. |
| Signature S1 + ERR rope | 140.2% | 42.07 | Bonuses added; no other ERR sources. |
📐 Calculation boundary
This is one Skill’s Energy arithmetic, not a damage benchmark or a complete rotation. Assume room below the 480 storage cap, no enemy hits or kills, no teammate resource transfers, and a Master Fox charge counter starting at zero. Skill-generated Punchline is not added as direct Certified Banger. These results do not guarantee an extra Ultimate in every fight.
🪢 ERR Rope vs. ATK Rope
ERR is the default rope recommendation, including at S1. It affects qualifying action and passive Energy gains, which support Evanescia’s resource engine. ATK primarily improves her ordinary ATK-scaling damage portion; it does not directly replace that resource value.
- Keep a good ATK rope temporarily if you have no usable ERR rope.
- Before switching a finished build to ATK, test whether the same team still reaches its useful Ultimate windows.
- Compare the same stage, Light Cone, teammates and buffs. Enemy hits and kills can otherwise disguise a weaker resource setup.
🩺 Why Huohuo’s 96 Energy Is Different
At Ultimate level 10, Huohuo restores 20% of an ally’s Max Energy. For Evanescia, 480 × 20% = 96 Energy when sufficient capacity remains. This percentage-based restoration is not multiplied again by Evanescia’s ERR. It can still feed her Energy-to-Certified-Banger interaction.
When two ropes trade substats against timing, the build optimizer guide can help organize comparisons. Any model must use the actual team and resource assumptions.

📚 7. Trace Priority and Farming Order
| Upgrade | Priority | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Major Traces | Unlock A2, A4 and A6 | CRIT support, Fox-applied vulnerability and resource interactions. |
| Talent | First skill-level priority | Central Elation and damage interactions. |
| Elation Skill | Next | A key Elation damage source. |
| Skill and Ultimate | Then develop both | Improve their damage while retaining the complete kit. |
| Basic ATK | Later | Useful fallback, lower upgrade urgency. |
From a planning perspective, avoid refining relic substats while the kit is missing a major Trace. A better farming order is level and Light Cone → major Traces and key skill levels → correct main stats → reliable support and sustain → relic refinement.
- ☐ Confirm the correct Elation Trace-material node in the live Guide.
- ☐ Finish the ERR rope and useful CRIT body before chasing small substat gains.
- ☐ Farm the actual required Cavern and Planar set; do not choose a domain because it appears in an illustrative screenshot.
- ☐ Build the support resources and healing needed to complete the planned fight.
For the extraction and farming process, the Planar Ornament farming guide covers the broader routine.

🤝 8. Evanescia Teams That Support the Build
Choose teammates by what they supply to Evanescia’s loop. These are role-based templates, not a measured ranking of every current Elation team. The sustain slot now includes Pearl as a released Version 4.6 option.
| Team route | Four-character lineup | What you are testing |
|---|---|---|
| Energy-focused baseline | Evanescia / Yao Guang / Elation Trailblazer / Huohuo | Shared Elation activity plus team Energy restoration. |
| 4.6 Elation sustain route | Evanescia / Yao Guang / Elation Trailblazer / Pearl | Elation interaction, protection and targeted action support; monitor defensive resources. |
| One-limited budget shell | Evanescia / Elation Trailblazer / Pela / Gallagher | Accessible support roles if those four-stars are owned; lower resource support. |
| Missing Yao Guang | Evanescia / Elation Trailblazer / compatible flex / sustain | Start with Trailblazer; choose the flex for a real missing function. |
Elation Trailblazer is the accessible support starting point. Yao Guang supplies archetype support and additional Elation opportunities. Huohuo provides healing and percentage-based Energy restoration. Pearl offers a different Elation sustain package. Her extra-turn condition requires four Elation characters, which the listed Pearl team supplies. Replacing one of those slots with a non-Elation character changes that condition. Her temporary Punchline and Certified Banger grants for that extra turn are not permanent resources. Choose between her protection and Huohuo’s Energy package by the actual encounter.
⚠️ “Budget” does not mean all four characters are free
Evanescia is a limited character. Pela and Gallagher depend on your roster or officially available acquisition routes. A working low-cost team is a useful starting point, but this guide does not promise modern endgame full clears from that shell.
If you are choosing between multiple Elation carries, compare the wider Elation team options. That page describes the older 4.4 context; the Pearl route here accounts for her later 4.6 release. This article keeps the team discussion tied to Evanescia’s gear and resources.
🎮 9. Rotation Checklist and a Fair Build Test
- Establish the support effects required for the upcoming damage window.
- Use Evanescia’s Skill when its Energy and Punchline contribution is useful and the team can afford it.
- Watch stored Energy, Certified Banger and the separate Fox charge counter.
- Use the Ultimate when the damage window and available resources justify it; avoid wasting incoming restoration at full storage.
- Refresh support effects and healing without spending the carry’s required SP on unnecessary Skills.
✅ Compare One Change at a Time
| Keep fixed | Record | Compare |
|---|---|---|
| Stage, enemies and encounter rules | Version and exact stage/node | Whether the same setup completes the intended window. |
| Eidolons, Light Cones and teammates | Main stats, combat CRIT and total ERR | Useful Ultimate timing, not only a screenshot hit. |
| Manual/auto policy and starting resources | Hits, kills, resource stalls and survival | An extra action or missed heal can explain the result. |
💡 Practical rule
For a rope comparison, repeat the same encounter and change only the rope. Record outside Energy gains instead of assuming every difference came from ERR. A larger individual hit can still accompany a slower or less reliable clear.

🗓️ 10. Character and Light Cone Banner History
As of October 6, 2026, Evanescia and her signature Light Cone are featured in the announced Version 4.6 Phase I rerun. The tables below separate that run from the original release. They cover verified runs relevant to this guide, not a prediction of future reruns.
👤 Character Banner History
| Character / run | Version | Announced start | Announced end |
|---|---|---|---|
| Evanescia — debut | 4.2 Phase II | May 13, 2026, 12:00 server time | June 1, 2026, 03:59 UTC+8 |
| Evanescia — rerun | 4.6 Phase I | After the September 28, 2026 update | October 21, 2026, 11:59 server time |
💎 Light Cone Banner History
| Light Cone / run | Version | Announced start | Announced end |
|---|---|---|---|
| Until the Flowers Bloom Again — debut | 4.2 Phase II | May 13, 2026, 12:00 server time | June 1, 2026, 03:59 UTC+8 |
| Until the Flowers Bloom Again — rerun | 4.6 Phase I | After the September 28, 2026 update | October 21, 2026, 11:59 server time |
⚠️ Update this section against official notices
The original notices mix server time and UTC+8; do not treat them as one timezone. A reader’s local calendar date can differ. Recheck the in-game Warp notice before publishing a current-banner claim or spending pulls. No later Evanescia rerun is predicted here.
The banner history archive tracks the wider sequence of character and Light Cone appearances.
💎 11. Pull or Save: Character, S1 or More Investment?
| Your account | Decision | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You want Evanescia and can support her playstyle | Consider the character within your planned budget | Check the complete four-slot roster before pulling. |
| You own her but lack a functional support or sustain | Prioritize the missing function | A signature cannot replace an absent teammate. |
| Your team works and she is a long-term main | Compare S1 with other account upgrades | CRIT DMG and ERR are useful, but have an opportunity cost. |
| You are considering E1 versus S1 | Compare the effects your actual team needs | E1 changes Fox/Elation interactions; S1 changes equipment stats and ERR. |
| You already clear your target content | Save or invest for preference | There is no required spending step beyond a working build. |
From a planning perspective, roster completion → reliable gear and rotation → optional vertical upgrades is a sensible default. S1 and E1 are different upgrades, so a universal damage-per-pull claim would hide the team, stage and investment assumptions.
Before combining copies of any alternative, check the Light Cone superimposition guide so you do not give up a useful second-team option.

❓ 12. Evanescia Build FAQ
🪢 Does Evanescia need an ERR rope?
An ERR rope is the recommended starting point. It improves qualifying Energy gains and supports her resource engine. An ATK rope can be a temporary piece or a specifically tested alternative, but should not be recommended only because it produces a larger ATK number.
🌸 Can I use an ATK rope with her signature?
You can equip one, but S1 does not automatically make it the better choice. The signature and ERR rope bonuses add, and they can still improve useful resource timing together. Compare the same team and encounter before changing a finished build.
🔋 Is Evanescia’s Ultimate cost 480 Energy?
No. She can store up to 480 Energy, while one Ultimate consumes 240. Master Fox also uses a separate 240-Energy-gained accumulation threshold. Mixing those three rules leads to incorrect rotations and Energy calculations.
🆓 What is a practical F2P Light Cone?
Mushy Shroomy’s Adventures is a permanent F2P option to consider at the superimposition you can obtain. Version 4.6 also added Tomorrow, Together and its superimposition material to Herta’s Store. Today’s Good Luck is paid, even when it appears in budget comparisons.
🎯 How much CRIT Rate should I build?
Count the final combat total. Her A2 supplies 30% in combat, so 70% outside battle reaches 100% before other combat-only bonuses. Stable team CRIT buffs can reduce that sheet requirement; surplus CRIT Rate does not improve a capped build.
⏱️ Does she require 134 SPD?
No. SPD is a team and encounter timing choice. Additional turns can help resource generation, but also advance turn-based state durations. Keep a lower-SPD build when it already completes the useful damage windows reliably.
🤝 Can I play Evanescia without Yao Guang?
Yes. Elation Trailblazer is the accessible support starting point, with flex and sustain slots selected from your roster. The team will not reproduce every premium support benefit, so assess actual resource flow and stage suitability rather than assuming identical performance.
🩺 Is Pearl always better than Huohuo?
This guide does not claim that. Pearl brings a released Elation sustain and action-support package, while Huohuo brings healing and percentage-based Energy restoration. Choose the package that resolves your team’s defensive and resource needs.
